Voice & Speech Sessions

What To Expect In A Session…

Over multiple sessions, we will work through a sequence of body, breath, voice, speech and presence exercises. Your unique communication habits will be identified as we progress through the sequence and you will be provided with tools to help you break free from those unproductive habits. As a result, you will learn how to speak with presence, confidence, and authenticity, all while deeply connecting with your audience.

To break it down even further, you will:

  • Discover the profound impact of body language — both in understanding others and how it helps you to convey your own message effectively

  • Master the critical role of breath in both verbal and non-verbal communication

  • Understand how your voice works so it no longer ‘holds you back’ or ‘gives you away’ in high-pressure settings

  • Develop the ability to form genuine connections in social and professional environments, building trust and rapport effortlessly

  • Learn how to enter any space with ease and confidence, commanding attention and respect

  • Acquire the skills to deliver impactful speeches and stories, exuding presence and authority

  • Gain practical tools to establish respect, credibility, and influence in every interaction

FAQs

How long are sessions & how many will I need?

Voice & Speech sessions are offered as one-hour sessions. You can book in for individual sessions or book in for a package.

Due to the nature of voice work, it’s most beneficial for you to book in for multiple sessions. After all, it’s rare to change a habit that you’ve had for over ten years in just one hour! Multiple sessions allows for repetition of the work, a deeper understanding of the work, and ultimately, gives you time to embody the work.

Everyone is different, however significant progress can be made in 3-10 sessions depending on your individual goals. You’re welcome to book in for your first session and then we can decide the right package for you. There’s also no obligation to book in for a package and you can book as you go.

Can I work on a speech or presentation within the session?

Of course! If there’s something specific that you would like to work on, please bring it along with you. This allows you to apply the techniques in real time. If you don’t have anything specific to work, don’t fret, I will provide you with material.

I’m feeling nervous about my first session. Will I have to do the exercises by myself?

I know that voice sessions can be a little daunting, especially when you’re coming along for your first session. That’s why I will always do the exercises alongside you, until you feel confident enough to do them by yourself.

I’m wanting to work on my communication and empathy skills. Are these sessions the right choice for me?

Absolutely! Our body, breath, voice, speech and presence are all crucial components of communication. They also impact how we empathise with others. Developing our awareness of these components and identifying our habits are vital when it comes to communication and empathy skills.

I’m an actor and I would like the sessions to also cover text work and Shakespeare. Is that possible?

Yes! I have a background in acting and absolutely love delving into text work and exploring Shakespeare’s language.

Can I have phone call with you to discuss my goals and concerns before we begin?

Yes, I offer a free no-obligation phone call before you book in for your first session. This gives us a chance to discuss your personal goals and for me to answer any questions you may have. Just shoot me an email and we’ll lock in a time to chat.
